# Governance A governance contract will be given ownership to the Staking and Marketplace contracts when everything is completed and operational. \ \ Voting power will be accumulated over time by staking EGGs, and votes can be taken to change aspects of the Staking and Marketplace contracts like fees and minimum reserves.
